Division of Space by Radford Wallis

Property developer Land Securities owned office space in 80 Victoria Street, London SW1. One vast floor’s space was due to be split into four sections and then let to separate companies. Agents showing prospective tenants around required something to demonstrate this clearly. Radford Wallis went for maximum impact by creating four scaled-up stationery items,
used to mark out the huge space. The giant objects were then positioned where the partitions would eventually be built.

Identity Theft

"Identity Theft" is a new art installation by Leon Reid IV in Brooklyn, NY.

"Identity Theft" depicts a 14ft sculpture of a cat burglar creeping on a Brooklyn rooftop pillaging a social media profile picture as often used to symbolize identity on sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Inspired by a recent robbery in his own building complex, Reid decided to place the concept of theft in a 21st century context, whereby personal information is often more vulnerable than personal property.

l’Eclaireur shop, Paris

‘This is not just a shop; it’s a fantasy in which everyone has to find a story for themselves.’ Within the idiom of L’Eclaireur. More than two tons of recycled wooden planks, cardboard, and used aluminum print-plates were delivered to shape the scenography of this haute-couture womens boutique. Paradoxically, the space seems weightless. The interior is conceived by the perimeter the sculptured walls follow to envelope the space.
